An unknown number of passengers were stung by bees after their bus crashed into a tree that had a beehive in Harare.
In a statement, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the accident happened on Wednesday morning at the intersection of Acturus Road and Harare Drive.
“The ZRP reports a serious road traffic accident that occurred this morning at the intersection of Acturus Road and Harare Drive.
“A bus driver allegedly lost control of the bus and collided with a tree that had a swarm of bees.
“As a result, several passengers sustained injuries, while others were stung by the bees,” the ZRP said.
